Do You Have What it Takes to Push Up Through the Earth and Bloom Again?

November 25, 2010 in mother earth, TYU

We all know that flowers pushing through the hard earth in order to bloom The blooming in our lives is fabulous but the pushing through the dirt part, while necessary, is not as fun as unfurling our gorgeous petals. There always is a time of death and rebirth, a time of passing. It’s a time where you have to decide if you have the will to bloom again, to become a flower. We have two basic choices. The first is to be to whine and complain about our trying times and to accept defeat. The other is to see the opportunity to plant seeds of renewal. Though most of us will do anything to avoid challenge, discomfort or even the slightest bit of inconvenience, research suggests that people who endure hardship often experience positive growth as a result of such. Some people emerge from adversity with a new lease on life and a greater sense of vitality. They also know how to embrace challenge and discomfort, spinning them into opportunities for personal growth! Saying states that Everything Happens For a Reason but it seems like first we had to get through a very painful experience to have that moment of clarity:
The Universe talks to us even when we are too busy to listen. Fortunately, even when our life is hectic the message still gets through; it just tends to get a little louder and sometimes requires the use of a figurative sledgehammer to get our attention. When we look back, we can all find examples in our own lives, where positive results only came from uncomfortable change. Getting fired from a job, the break up of a relationship, losing money in the market- all may appear to be tragic in the moment, from the limited perspective that we have. But in hindsight, all may bring incredible opportunity and gifts to us.
I wonder, is a painful process necessary in order for us to really learn the lesson? Is getting burned the only way we learn to respect fire and hot ovens? I think the answer is sometimes, yes. But I also believe that there are ways in which we can get across the hot coals with our feet untouched.

  1. I am truly convinced that we all have the natural, inner power, inspiration and ability for rising, push up and bloom again,,,,,,it takes a strong, good will to learn if necessary, the way out, we just have to know how and practice ,having the aids which are adequate for our own temperament, and in a very personal opinion, becoming more spiritual every day, will sure make a difference and will help us to find. the gold in ourselves and be centered to overcome any setback in life ….

  2. dont know what to say…but great question Joy.
    Lets find out!
    Love,

  4. Great issue! Great insight!
The thing is that I’m convinced that we can not stop our self~blooming.
We cannot even stop the unfurling of the petals, plant of our seeds … and most importantly harvest our fruits during the season(s).
They say there are seasons for giving and seasons for taking and that’s OK so far. But there’s also the fact that our tree(s) in our yard(s)~Life~
is/are always beautiful no matter what and they/it are/is not always and
necessarily giving fruits each season which doesn’t make it/them less
    beautiful or less useful.
I’ll give a contrary example instead:
For the first time in my 47 years of Life I’m experiencing strawberries
from my outdoor garden at the end of November, and you know what it
means for most of the European spaces.
It gives me the liberty of believing that my Shift is all up to me.
    Nothing is impossible.Everything is achievable.Sometimes through a
very painful experience and sometimes slight n’ easy…but it does come
    out.
“When you know that you are alive for a reason and that what you are
doing is filled with enthusiasm, joy and gratitude, everything becomes
meaningful and worthy of your experience of authentic power.
By looking for the wisdom and the compassion that is waiting for you
in your most difficult experiences, you will change your Life.”

Who doesn’t like the passion and the wisdom of Gary Zukav?

Thank you Joy for this wonderful post.

    With Love
